This is the story of our Explorer Yacht, Vanguard. Her design, a 2-year build, and our journey thereafter. Thus began the specification and build of a yacht with the characteristics we needed. An explorer yacht typified by extreme range, rugged construction and capability of worldwide travel with short-handed crew. This is our story as it happens, how we built her, why we made our design decisions, and the adventures we sought as a family at sea.
