Yachting in the Indian Ocean

Indian Ocean

Yachting in the Indian Ocean is a complete escape from civilization. Regardless of the time of year, you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere of eternal summer and unity with nature.
SeychellesMaldivesMadagascar – wherever you go, you will encounter a unique atmosphere of untouched wildlife and landscapes of breathtaking beauty. You get to explore pristine, uninhabited islands and enjoy a unique variety of flora and fauna.
Indian Ocean yachting is not suitable for beginners – the abundance of coral reefs and significant tidal variations in water level make even the most experienced skippers alert at all times.

Climate
There are four climatic belts in the Indian window, stretching along the parallels. During the summer monsoon, there are often winds of more than 7 points. In the middle part of the ocean, stormy weather is associated with tropical hurricanes. They can also occur in the southern tropical zone in winter. Hurricanes most often occur in the western part of the ocean, in the areas of Madagascar and the Mascarene Islands.
Because of the abundance of reefs, the charter fleet is mainly represented by catamarans.
