Full Description & Details
Marina Cikat is a jetty located in Cikat Bay on the western side of Losinj Island, Croatia, within the town of Mali Losinj. The bay is well-protected from all winds, offering a safe haven for boats. However, the marina ceased public operations in 2018.
Currently, it offers about 20 berths with mooring lines, exclusively for hotel guests, though the infrastructure originally supported around 80 berths for yachts up to 56 meters in length with a maximum draft of 8 meters. Water depths in the bay range from 2 to 6 meters. Anchoring in the harbor is strictly prohibited.
The surrounding area includes a large hotel complex with two good restaurants, and basic supplies are available at a nearby campsite, while larger supermarkets and a Lidl are located in Losinj, about 1.2 kilometers away.
How to get there
Approaching Marina Cikat is straightforward, as it is situated in the well-protected Cikat Bay on the western side of Losinj Island. The entry is marked and hassle-free, with depths ranging from 2 to 4 meters for smaller vessels, though the marina can accommodate drafts up to 8 meters. There is no VHF channel listed for the marina, and since operations ceased in 2018, it is not a functional harbor for transient boats.
