Full Description & Details
Marina Cervar sits at the southeastern corner of Cervar Bay, part of the Cervar-Porat holiday resort about 6 km north of Porec on the western coast of Istria, Croatia. The marina is operated by the Plava Laguna resort company and is open year round. It is a practical base for exploring the Istrian coast, with the historic town of Porec and its UNESCO-listed Euphrasius Basilica a short distance away.
The marina offers 259 berths for yachts up to 25 metres in length with a maximum draft of 5 metres. Yachts berth bows or stern-to on seven pontoons, with laid moorings at all berths and berthing assistance available. Shelter is reasonably good, though strong northwest winds can make the outer berths uncomfortable. Anchoring inside the marina is not permitted; the alternative is to anchor in Cervar Bay, avoiding the shoals and islets of Mali and Veli Skolj.
Facilities include water and electricity on the pontoon, showers, toilets, a restaurant, snack-bar and cafe/bar, a self-service shop, and fuel. A 15-ton crane, slipway, and a repair shop cover hull, engine, sail and mast work, with mechanics, electricians and other specialists on site. Supermarkets and shops are nearby, and the resort provides additional services such as a hotel and exchange office.
Approach from the northwest is recommended, keeping the southern headland at least one mile to starboard when coming from the south. The shoals and islets of Mali and Veli Skolj extend nearly a mile off the south side of the bay entrance and are marked with buoys. Contact the marina on VHF channel 17 before entry. The marina is open all year, and the nearest major airport is Pula, about 60 km away.
How to get there

The short breakwater of the marina is visible at the southeastern corner of the bay when close in, but the pier can block visibility at the entryway, so proceed with caution.
