Full Description & Details
ACI Marina Zut is located in the westernmost part of Uvala Luka Zut on the island of Zut, in the northwestern section of the Kornati archipelago outside the boundaries of Kornati National Park. The marina operates seasonally from April 1st to October 31st and provides 131 berths along a concrete pier. Vessels with draft greater than 3 metres berth along the entire southern arm of the pier or at the very end of the northern arm. Maximum vessel length is 40 metres for daily berths. The marina also maintains 15 mooring buoys in the anchorage.
Protection varies by wind direction. During strong bora, berths on the northern arm of the pier and moorings are recommended, while during strong southerlies, berths on the southern arm are more comfortable. The marina is equipped with a pump-out facility for holding tanks. Water and power supply are limited: water is available from 08:00 to 10:00, and power from 08:00 to 12:00 and 18:00 to 24:00. These restrictions do not affect pricing. The marina offers sanitary facilities, free Wi-Fi, a restaurant, and a grocery store. The nearest fuel station is 8 nautical miles away in Zaglav on Dugi otok.
The island of Zut is part of the Zut-Sit group and has no permanent settlements, though fishermen, livestock farmers and agricultural workers from Murter visit periodically. The surrounding waters are crystal clear, and the marina tends to be quieter on weekends as it is not a charter base. Additional services in the bay include a small store with bakery service and the restaurant Sandra on the southern shore, as well as the seafood restaurant Festo with a large jetty.
How to get there
The island of Zut and its marina are part of the Zut-Sit group in the northeastern Kornati Islands. When approaching from the west (from Kornati National Park), the shortest route is through Proversa vela or Proversa mala passage. At night, Proversa mala passage is recommended as it is well lit.
From Zadar, the route passes through Mali Zdrelac passage, where the bridge has a clearance of 16.5 metres. At the entrance to Uvala Zut, Maslinjak Island marks the approach; the northern cape of Maslinjak is at 43°53.2' N, 15°18.8' E. The ACI flag is visible on Cape Razanj. Official navigational charts recommended are HHI 101, 300-32, 100-20, MK-14 and Plan 512.
