Full Description & Details
Bucht Soline 2 is an anchorage on the eastern side of the island of Pasman, in the Zadar archipelago of Croatia. It sits in the same bay as the larger Uvala Soline, a well-known overnight stop for yachts cruising between Biograd and the Kornati islands. The bay is open to the sea but offers a sandy seabed that gives good holding for anchoring.
The anchorage is marked on charts and in pilot guides as a sheltered spot for a night at anchor, with the option of picking up one of the 30 guest mooring buoys laid out in the field. Maximum vessel length is 15 metres, so it suits typical charter yachts and smaller cruisers. Overnight stays are permitted, and the anchorage is a popular first-night stop for crews leaving Biograd on a Kornati circuit.
How to get there
Approach Bucht Soline 2 from the east, entering the bay between the island of Pasman and the mainland. The anchorage lies at approximately 43 degrees 55.5 minutes north, 15 degrees 21.7 minutes east. The seabed is sand, so anchoring is straightforward in settled conditions.
There is no VHF channel listed for the anchorage; contact is not required for anchoring, but if you plan to use a guest buoy, check with any local operator on shore. The bay is reachable by dinghy, with a dock and a beach for landing. The nearest town is Biograd na Moru on the mainland, about 2 nautical miles east, which has a marina and fuel.
The island of Pasman itself has a small settlement at Tkon to the south, but for provisions and formalities, Biograd is the practical base.
