Approach from the southwest, guided by the highly visible British Petroleum storage tanks. The marina entry features a distinctive, almost circular basin, providing 360-degree protection, ensuring a safe harbor even in adverse weather conditions. Before entering the marina channel, contact via VHF16 with a clear call, “Vuda Marina, Vuda Marina, Vuda Marina. This is vessel ‘xyz’,” and await further instructions. Marina staff will then assist in guiding yachts to their berths.

Vuda Marina currently offers two berthing options: the East Basin and the West Basin. The East Basin operates “med-style” with fixed docks, providing power and water. The West Basin features modern floating berths with similar amenities. The East Basin charges based on LOA, with a minimum of 35 feet, while the West Basin has three docks with minimum lengths of 50, 70, and 80 feet.

The marina accommodates vessels up to 23 meters in length and 3 meters in draft. Berths are equipped with 240V, 10amp, single-phase power points, and shared freshwater taps. Wi-Fi is available throughout the marina. Fueling is provided at a dedicated fuel dock offering diesel and unleaded petrol.

The marina infrastructure comprises a boatyard capable of handling a range of repair and maintenance services. It offers hard standing for up to 20 yachts and a 40-ton travel lift.

Notably, Vuda Marina Fiji has pioneered a unique cyclone pit storage system that provides unmatched protection for vessels during cyclone events. These pits are dug into the ground and lined with rubber. Yachts are then placed in these pits and strapped down, offering exceptional security during severe weather.

• Travel Lift & Haul Out: The marina has the largest travel hoist in Fiji, capable of hauling vessels up to 63 tons. The haul out process includes a high-pressure wash, essential for anti-fouling or long-term storage.
• Trimaran & Catamaran Haul Out: Vuda Marina is the only facility in Fiji with a trailer capable of lifting multihulls up to 40 tons. The haul out ramp is exposed to weather conditions, requiring flexibility in scheduling.
• Hardstand: The hardstand area accommodates vessels for repairs or long-term storage. Vessel owners can work on their own vessels, with a shared workshop area available.
• Cyclone Storage: The marina offers 80 cyclone pits for monohulls and a ten-point strap system for multihulls. In-water cyclone berthing is also available.

• Fuel & Water: 24/7 fueling with unleaded, diesel, and premix fuel. Freshwater is available from the fuel depot and shared taps around the basin.
