Marina Spinut is located on the northern side of the Marjan peninsula in the suburb of Spinut of the same name and is only 2 km from the historic center of Split. The marina, protected by two breakwaters, has a total of around 1170 berths and yachts up to 25m long that can anchor. The maximum draft is 5.0 meters.
The property has 24-hour surveillance, a car park, 2 restaurants, a sailing school, and a large shipyard and repair shop. Despite the great popularity of ACI Marina Split next to the old town, Marina Spinut is still bigger and has lower prices!
There are two basins within the port – a large W basin, operated by PŠD Špinut, and a smaller E basin, operated by JK Split sailing club. The port is protected from N and W winds by a long breakwater.
Berths
PŠD Špinut has 12 pontoons and the total capacity of 770 wet berths and 250 dry berths, all of which are equipped with water and electricity. It can accommodate yachts up to 25 metres in length. Sea depth in the large W basin is about 5 metres.
JK Split offers 400 wet berths and 90 dry berths, all of which are equipped with water and electricity. Water depth in the small E basin is approximately 3 m. Depth at the entrance of the port is 7 m.
The majority of the berths are occupied by club members and local vessels, but visiting yachts are welcome if space is available.
There is a small boatyard with the equipment for extracting, washing and transporting ships, 5 t crane, 1.5 t crane and a 15t boat lift. There is also a café, toilet and shower facility, nautical equipment shop, restaurant-pizzeria “Lučica”, bocce court and a charter agency. The nearest fuel station is in the main harbour of Split (in ACI Marina Split), opposite the ferry terminal.
