Mykonos Marina (or Port of Mykonos) is a large harbor located in the city of Mykonos on the Aegean Sea, on the island of Mykonos. Mykonos Marina provides good shelter from the prevailing winds. It is quite quiet, due to its distance from the city center.
Water and electricity are available throughout the marina. Fuel only on a minitanker. Nearby there is a mini market with a good assortment.
There are no dangers on the way. Usually, one or more large cruise ships are moored to the outside of the breakwater of the pier.
Entrance to the pier from the southeast. The depth at the entrance is 5.0 – 6.0 meters. Visitor yachts are usually moored to starboard at the entrance to the marina. The water area of Mykonos Marina consists of a short breakwater extending from the shore and protecting the marina from the southeast, and two parallel concrete piers 100 and 200 meters further inland.
Depths off the coast here exceed 3 meters. Depths along the pier and breakwater range from 4.25 m at the base to 4.5 m at the end.
There are 30 more berths for larger (20-25 meter) yachts on the southwest promenade of the marina (inside the section where cruise ships are moored), but these are usually filled with local powerboats.
The pier is about half an hour walk from the city and its attractions.
There are several good restaurants near the marina.
The Matthews Tavern across the street has good food, but the prices are “touristic”.
