Marina Lanzarote is situated in Arrecife within the Puerto Naos harbor, positioned along the inner length of the south-east facing harbor breakwater, just southwest of the commercial port, Puerto los Mármoles. This prime location provides sailors with easy access to the city center and its myriad attractions.

Approach to the Marina

Approaching Marina Lanzarote requires careful navigation. Arriving from the north, sailors will first encounter landmarks such as the brightly lit power station and DISA Gas towers. It’s advisable to maintain a distance of 0.5 miles from the shore to avoid the reef. From the south, the Gran Hotel serves as a prominent landmark. Special marks indicating tanker discharge points should be avoided while passing the airport on the port side.

Upon reaching the Puerto Naos breakwater, the new cruise-liner terminal becomes visible, marked by distinctive cylindrical towers. Following the marked channel into the harbor, buoys guide the way, ensuring safe navigation. Visitors must adhere to the marked channel, which has been dredged to a minimum depth of 4.3 meters.

Communicating with Marina Lanzarote is facilitated through VHF channels (Ch. 09/16) available 24/7. Upon entry, sailors are requested to contact the marina for berthing instructions. Dock staff are on hand to assist with lines and provide necessary guidance.

Entry into Marina Lanzarote necessitates completion of entry and border police forms, alongside submission of boat registration documents, insurance, and passports. The marina operates round the clock, with staff available 24 hours a day.

The Marina Office, located opposite Pontoon K, serves as a central hub for services and assistance. Open daily from 08:00 to 20:00, it offers berthing reservations, wifi access, luggage trolley rentals, storage room rentals, laundry services, and information assistance.

Each berth is equipped with water and electricity, with desalinated water suitable for drinking. Electricity access is provided via single or three-phase 220v / 380v connections. Power up to 200 amps is available for superyacht berths. Additional access means and boarding steps can be provided upon request.

Shower facilities are reserved for berth-holders, accessible via Marina cards. The marina also features a self-service laundry equipped with coin-operated washing machines and tumble dryers.

Customs assistance for importing parts into the Canaries is available through Sancargo SL. Post can be received at the marina office, with arrangements made for large parcels and customs charges.

Border Police office handles passport stamping for arrivals from outside Europe. Tourist Information office provides visitor and travel information, including car and bike hire services.
