Anchorage outside the port is prohibited from 01.06 to 30.09. Outside of this period, southeast of the port at a depth of 3 to 10 meters it is possible to anchor and enjoy clear water and a beautiful view of the citadel).
To the west of Marina Calvi, just a few steps away, is the main beach of Calvi, which stretches for 5 km.
It’s easy to see why Calvi is Corsica’s second most important city for tourism as you wander through the colorful narrow streets of its lower town. Marina Xavier Colonna, or Port Calvi is very popular with yachtsmen who can stroll along its quays and chat with local fishermen.
Shops, arts and crafts, restaurant terraces and food outlets open right into the marina, providing an inviting and scenic backdrop for yachts moored in front of them. Also in the port, you can see the Tour de Sel, a 13th-century watchtower that once stored salt.
