ACI Marina Vodice is located in the very center of the city, in the north-eastern part of the city harbor. Marina Vodice is one of the ten marinas of the ACI system awarded the outstanding Blue Flag award. Marina Vodice was awarded the prize ” Tourist Flower – Quality of Croatia” for the third place in the category of the best middle-class Marina on the Adriatic in 2017.
The constant development of tourist facilities has turned Vodice into a leading resort on the Sibenik Riviera, receiving 40,000 visitors in the summer months. It is not surprising that ACI Marina Vodice is one of the favorite places for yachtsmen looking for active recreation, entertainment and a wide range of leisure activities. The marina is located in the city itself, in the north-eastern part of the port of Vodice (Vrulya Bay). It is protected by two breakwaters and is open all year round. Vodice has excellent transport links with the rest of the region along the main coastal road and is close to two international airports, which contributes to the attractiveness of this destination.
Approach
The town of Vodice is easily recognizable by the Oct Hill (133 m), crowned by a small church, as well as by the city bell tower and the tall building of the Hotel Punta, whose light is visible from afar at night. In addition, to the north of the harbor entrance there is a tall stone monument in the shape of a torch, a long pier breakwater made of stacked stones, about 100 m east of the harbor entrance (which is also the entrance to the marina), and a light at the top of the breakwater is the red tower (Fl R 5s 7m 3M). To the southeast of the harbor lighthouse on the breakwater, at a distance of about 180 m, there is a shoal about 1.3 m deep, marked by fire (Fl G 5s 5m 2M). The shoal can be rounded only on the right. When entering the port at night, keep an eye on the shallow water-it is marked by a darkened sector of the Vodice Harbor lighthouse.
