Approach to the Marina

Safe access to the port is located between the end of the breakwater (the continuation of Cape Compare) and Cape Protein, which is marked by a green lighthouse (Fl G 3s 9m 6M) (Fl R 3s 9m 5M). Kumpar Lighthouse is located at 44°53.2′ north latitude and 13°47.7 ‘ east longitude. Then go to the southern tip of Andrew Island, where you can find the green lighthouse (L2 s7 m 1M). The channel between it and Katarina Island is clearly marked for a night approach.
After the crossing, another lighthouse on the island of Ulyanovsk (FlG 5s7m3M) points the way to the ACI Marina Pula. The marina becomes visible when you go around the lighthouse. Keep an eye out for iron buoys that periodically occur along the entire route of the approach to the marina. The speed limit in ACI Marina Pula is 8 knots. Navigators are advised to use official charts (HHI Split: 100-16, 50-3, and MK-3) for accurate guidance.
