St. Thomas Yacht Club is located on the eastern Caribbean island of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, in Cowpet Bay.
The St. Thomas Yacht Club (STYC) was organized in 1964 by regatta enthusiasts and has a rich history of promoting racing for both large and small boats. In its early years, the yacht club sponsored the Caribbean Winter Regatta.
Club members include an America’s Cup winner and Olympic medalists in both the adult and junior divisions.
Each year the club hosts the St. Thomas International Regatta, one of the largest yacht races in the Caribbean.
The island’s capital, Charlotte Amalie, is 12 kilometers from the marina and offers some of the most famous landmarks of the U.S. Virgin Islands: Blackbeard Castle, Watchtower, and Honeymoon Beach.
On the east side of the harbor is the Havensite neighborhood full of stores and restaurants, and on the west side is Frenchtown, with its brightly colored houses and restaurants overlooking the water.
We recommend a drive to Coki Point, home to another Caribbean attraction, Coral World Ocean Park.
