Approach: A red iron tower serves as a landmark, on which a red light is visible from the east of the entrance.
Mooring: The bay provides good shelter from all winds except the north. During such winds, small yachts seek shelter in one of three small bays (Rivers, Farida or Traps), fixing the ends on bollards or stones on the shore.
A good anchorage for large yachts is located in the middle of the bay (depth of about 26 m).
