Full Description & Details

Luka Kuje is a small, secluded harbor in the Liznjan municipality on Croatia's Istrian peninsula, set within the Kvarner area along the Adriatic East coast. It sits between Rt Munat Veliki and Rt Uljeva, roughly 0.6 miles SSE of the inlet, and is protected from all but northern winds. The cove offers a safe anchorage in its southeast part, with the best holding in about 6 meters of sandy bottom.

However, the cove's sides have banks with depths of less than 3.7 meters, and the head is shallow, so caution is advised. The sea bottom is covered with posidonia oceanica (sea grass) and fragile fan-shaped shells, which are sensitive to anchoring, so visitors should use mooring facilities responsibly.
