Full Description & Details

Setur Cesme Marina is a modern yacht harbor on the northern coast of the Cesme peninsula, at the western end of Izmir, Turkey. It sits on the west side of Ilica Bay, half a mile south of Kalem Point, and is integrated with the Altinyunus Hotel, which dates to 1974. The marina is sheltered from prevailing north and northwest winds and offers a maximum depth of 5.5 meters, accommodating boats up to 45 meters in length.

It has 186 berths at sea and 60 land storage spaces, with a 60-vehicle parking area. The facility provides electricity, water, high-speed Wi-Fi, showers, toilets, a fuel station, waste collection, and 24/7 security with mooring boat service. Technical services include bottom washing and lift-and-launch operations for boats up to 60 tons.

The on-site Yacht Market Kalfa Marin handles repairs and maintenance, while the hotel's shopping center offers restaurants, cafes, bars, and ATMs. The marina is 3 kilometers from Cesme town center, with hospitals and pharmacies within the same distance, and attractions such as the 16th-century Cesme Castle, the Ancient City of Erythrae, and Ilica Hot Springs nearby.

How to get there

When approaching by sea, use the entrance lights (FI. G 3M / FI. R 3 M) and call VHF 73 "Setur Marina" or channel 16. The marina entrance is at 5 meters depth; the starboard side of the entrance is 4 meters, and depths decrease to 2 meters further in.

The quays on the hotel side are for small boats, and vessels moor stern-to. An alternative is to anchor in Ilica Bay, on the west side, half a mile south of Kalem Point. By land, the marina is 95 kilometers from Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, 4 kilometers from Cesme Bus Terminal, and 2 kilometers from Ilica Bus Terminal, with a helipad also available.
