Full Description & Details

Beyaz Kayalar is a small, sheltered anchorage off a rocky cove on the Karaburun peninsula, about 5.6 km from Balıklıova. The holding is sand and seagrass over boulders, so a careful set is needed. The cove is ringed by white limestone cliffs and a pebble beach, with clear water for snorkeling.

There are no facilities, no market, and no dock; the shore is rocky, so water shoes are essential. It is a quiet, natural spot best visited in summer, when the water is warm and the weather is settled.

How to get there

Approach the cove from the Aegean side, keeping a sharp lookout for boulders and shallow patches near the shore. Anchor in sand and seagrass, allowing enough scope for the depth.

The nearest community is Balıklıova, about 5.6 km away, but there is no dock or dinghy landing; you will need to come ashore on the rocky beach. No VHF channel is listed for this anchorage, so rely on visual pilotage and local knowledge.
