Full Description & Details

Guzelcamlı Limanı is a marina project planned by Aydın Buyuksehir Belediyesi in Guzelcamlı, a coastal settlement in Kusadası district on Turkey's Aegean coast. The project received a positive Environmental Impact Assessment decision in 2019 and is designed to expand the existing 100-vessel fishing harbour to a capacity of 200 vessels. The development includes a yacht marina, ferry berths and an upgraded fishing harbour on a total reclaimed area of approximately 60,000 square metres, with an internal sea area of 86,000 square metres.

The yacht marina will occupy 22,700 square metres of reclaimed land and feature floating pontoons with finger berths. A main breakwater will protect the marina and ferry berths from wave action. Three ferry berths are planned on the main breakwater: two for 1,000 GRT ferries at 60 and 90 metres, and one for 3,000 GRT ferries at 125 metres. The minimum depth throughout the marina basin will be maintained at 4 metres through dredging operations. Administrative and social buildings are planned for the landward section of the yacht marina.

The project budget is set at 75 million Turkish lira, with construction expected to take one year once commenced. The development is located entirely on reclaimed sea area, with no land-based footprint beyond the immediate shoreline facilities. The yacht marina will account for approximately 51 per cent of the total reclaimed area, the fishing harbour 26 per cent, and ferry berths 23 per cent. Guzelcamlı is situated near beaches and offers access to village restaurants, with the area serving as a base for exploring nearby natural sites and archaeological ruins.
