Full Description & Details
Luka Nerezine sits on the northeast side of Losinj island at the foot of Osorscica hill, adjacent to the village of Nerezine. The marina operates year-round and provides a compact waterfront setting with cafes, restaurants, shops and a hotel within walking distance. The harbour mixes village life with open water views and serves as a practical stopover for cruising sailors exploring the northern Adriatic islands.
The marina offers 60 wet berths with water depths ranging from 1.0 to 5.0 metres. Protection is good against most wind directions, but the harbour remains exposed to bura (northeast wind). The facility includes water and electricity connections at the berths. A 3.5-tonne crane and 20-tonne travel lift are available for boat handling. Three new pasarelles and a T-shaped extension were installed between spring 2014 and spring 2016 to improve berthing capacity for communal and commercial vessels.
The marina is equipped with mooring devices, harbour lighting, a boat ramp, and connections to road access, water supply, electricity and telephone services. A mobile office unit has been installed on site to improve the quality of primary services and user reception for mooring fees and billing. Fuel is available approximately 1 nautical mile north of Nerezine. The operational quays and berths are of massive construction using stone and concrete, reported to be in good condition for use.
Overnight docking is subject to payment. Reported pricing from 2024 indicates approximately €51 per day for a 9-metre vessel, with earlier reports noting 280 kuna for a 35-foot boat. The marina is managed by Zupanijska lucka uprava Mali Losinj, which also handles permanent berth allocations in the Biskupija basin.
