Full Description & Details
Marina Lumbarda sits on the southeast side of Korcula Island, in U. Prvi Zal near the village of Lumbarda. The marina is protected from all winds except the north; behind the breakwater it is sheltered from all winds. It offers 115 berths for boats up to 30 meters LOA, with depths ranging from 2 to 8 meters.
Mooring lines and stern-to-dock berths are available, and laid moorings are at all berths. The marina provides electricity, water, showers, restrooms, fuel (though some sources note no fuel berth, with the nearest fuel station 2.5 nautical miles away in Korcula town), sewage disposal, WiFi, a boat ramp, recycling, bicycle and car rental, video surveillance, a night watchman, a laundromat, and ice for sale. An on-site restaurant serves local cuisine, and a grocery store is within walking distance.
The village of Lumbarda is known for vineyards and wine tastings.
How to get there
Approach to Marina Lumbarda requires care due to a shoal marked with a lateral mark (right side). Navigate between the lighthouse (R Bl 3s 7m 3M) on Cape Raznik and the green lateral mark; sea depths west of the mark are 2 to 3 meters. The breakwater provides effective protection, and the white lighthouse on Cape Raznik serves as a guiding landmark.
Contact the marina on VHF channel 17 for berthing instructions. The nearest airport is in Dubrovnik, with ferry connections to Korcula Island. The marina is just over two miles southeast of Korcula town harbor.
