Full Description & Details
D-Marin Turgutreis is a large, modern marina on the western tip of the Bodrum Peninsula, about 20 kilometres from Bodrum town. It is Turkey's flagship D-Marin facility and a popular base for bareboat and skippered charters, with the town of Turgutreis directly at the marina gates. The marina is well-sheltered by stone breakwaters and faces the open Aegean, catching the prevailing northwesterly Poyraz winds that make for good sailing from May to October.
The marina has 532 berths with floating piers for vessels 8 to 15 metres and Med mooring for 16 to 30 metre boats, and can take yachts up to 75 metres LOA. Depths range from 3 to 8 metres, and holding is on the pontoons. The approach is clean with no reefs or shoals. Overnight stays are permitted. The marina holds a Blue Flag and a 5 Gold Anchors award, and is part of the Turmepa DenizTemiz (Clean Seas) collaboration.
Facilities are extensive: 24/7 water and power supply (220/380 V, 50 Hz, 16-32-63-400 A), showers, restrooms, laundry, Wi-Fi, a fuel station with diesel, a boat ramp, and a 100-ton travel lift with a 10,000 sqm dry dock area. There is a heliport, EV charging stations, car parking, and a D-SPA wellness centre. The marina village has cafes and restaurants along the waterfront, and a Saturday Bazaar sells local olives, spices, and leather goods. The town is a short walk away.
Safety and security are covered by 24/7 guards and CCTV, and the marina is ISPS compliant. Discharge of waste into the water is forbidden, and swimming, diving, fishing, and sport activities are not allowed within the marina. Children under 14 must be supervised. The sailing season runs May to October, with the Poyraz breeze providing a comfortable broad reach toward Knidos and the Greek Dodecanese islands. For anchoring, the Gulf of Gokova bays like Mersincik or Selimiye are alternatives.
