How to get there
Approaching from the south, pass 3 nautical miles off Cape Corrubedo, then set a course of 020° toward Punta Queixal, keeping Mount Louro in line to avoid the shoals of Las Basonas and La Balla. Leave the islets of Leixoes 1 nautical mile to the north and enter the estuary. From the north, head out to sea 5 nautical miles from Punta Insua to avoid the Los Meixidos and Los Bruyos shoals, leaving Punta Barreiro and Punta Queixal 0.75 nautical miles to the north.
Navigate through the middle of the estuary for about 6 nautical miles; the entrance canal is 160 meters wide between the northern point of the fishing pier and the dock light. Avoid the Minoteira shoal, especially at low tide. Contact the marina on VHF channel 9.
