Full Description & Details
Porto Deportivo de Ribadeo, historically known as Porto de Porcillan, is a marina in the town of Ribadeo, in the A Marina Oriental region of Galicia, Spain. It sits on the southern face of the Santos bridge carrying the A-8 motorway, inside the Ria de Ribadeo.
The marina is one of two Blue Flag marinas in the province of Lugo. It belongs to the public entity Portos de Galicia and is managed by the Real Club Nautico de Ribadeo, founded in 1974, whose clubhouse stands next to the port.
How to get there
The marina lies in Porcillan, on the south side of the Santos bridge over the Ria de Ribadeo. The access channel to the ports of Ribadeo requires periodic dredging; in 2019 a budget of half a million euros was allocated to remove about 43,000 cubic metres of sand towards Mirasol and about 4,300 cubic metres in the marina basin.
Mariners should check current depths before entering. The marina is managed by the Real Club Nautico de Ribadeo; contact them by VHF for berth allocation and local guidance.
