Full Description & Details
Cap d'Ail Marina sits on the French Riviera, close to Monaco and within the town of Cap d'Ail. It offers 253 berths for vessels up to 60 meters, with a maximum draft of 5 meters. The marina provides water, electricity (220V-380V), Wi-Fi, two toilet blocks with showers, a fuel dock with diesel and unleaded gasoline, and a pump-out station for sanitary waste.
Boats under 18 meters moor on floating pontoons, while larger vessels use the quays. The Bassin d'Honneur has 10 berths for superyachts from 40 to 65 meters. A shipyard careening area includes a 75-ton lift, and there is a public slipway and waste collection point.
Mooring with anchor in the harbor basin is forbidden.
How to get there
The marina entrance is to the east, marked by a large protective wave breaker. Entrance lights are at the southern dam's southwest corner (position 43°43',4N - 007°24',9E) with FI/G/4s11m10M, and the inner end of the dam has FI/R/4s7m6M. Contact the harbor master on VHF channel 9 for berth instructions. The maximum speed in the harbor is 3 knots.
During strong west winds, expect choppy waters and a reverse flow in the basin; navigate at 0.5 knots when winds are strong and an opposing current is present along Digue du Large. Beware of an underwater dam in front of Marke Beach. Access is available day and night.
