Full Description & Details
Tuzla Koyu is a wide, 2-mile bay on the southern shore of Gokova Korfezi, between Koyun Burnu and Tuztutan Burnu. It is a favorite anchorage for large motor yachts and gulets, with several distinct coves and bights that can be treated as separate anchorages.
The bay is open to the west and northwest, and the seabed is sand and mud with good holding. The surrounding hills offer a short climb, and the nearest town run brings you into Marmaris for supplies, the castle, and a long stretch of waterfront restaurant stops.
How to get there
Approach Tuzla Koyu from the west or northwest, keeping clear of the central islet. Submerged rocks extend 70-80 meters south of the islet, so pass well offshore. Avoid the shallow passage between the islet and the mainland at Adali Koy.
The bay has no VHF channel; anchor in 7-12 meters on sand and mud. A small dock option near the shore allows tender landing. The nearest town is Marmaris, reachable by a short run.
