Full Description & Details
Marina Yates del Principado is a 156-berth marina inside the commercial Port of Gijon, known as El Musel, in Asturias. It sits on the eastern side of the commercial docks, facing the Bay of Gijon and the Playa del Arbeyal, about a mile from Playa de San Lorenzo.
The marina was created in 2008 and is operated by the Port Authority of Gijon. It is a short drive from the city centre and the A66 and A8 motorways.
How to get there
The approach is made within the commercial port complex of El Musel. From the north cardinal buoys marking the Amosucas shoals, a true bearing of 203 degrees leads to the north end of the Dique de la Osa breakwater.
From there, a true bearing of 216 degrees runs parallel to the breakwater, and the green light (F1 (4) 20 sec) marks the entrance to the marina, which is left to starboard. The marina monitors VHF channel 9.
