Full Description & Details
Krabi Boat Lagoon Marina sits on the east coast of Krabi province inside a circular lagoon that was once a tin mine. It is the newest marina in the area and a sister property to Phuket Boat Lagoon. The setting is calm and natural, away from busy tourist areas, yet close to the region's well-known islands and beaches.
The marina provides about 80 wet berths and around 100 dry stack berths, with the ability to handle vessels up to 35 meters in length and 3 meters in draft. The entrance channel is maintained to a depth of 2.5 meters, so boats can enter and exit even at low tide. Full-service berthing includes fresh water, electricity, and WiFi, and fueling facilities are on site.
The hardstand area can hold up to 100 boats for repair and maintenance work. Additional amenities include a swimming pool, fitness center, retail outlets, restaurants serving Thai and international dishes, and the Boat Lagoon Resort, a boutique hotel with marina views. Groceries and boating supplies are available in the shops.
How to get there
The approach to Krabi Boat Lagoon Marina is straightforward, with well-marked channels guiding boaters in. The entrance channel is maintained to a depth of 2.5 meters, ensuring smooth entry and exit even at low tide. Boaters should keep to the marked channel and comply with speed limits and local navigation rules.
The marina is accessible by air via Krabi International Airport, located about 20 kilometers away. From the airport, a taxi or pre-arranged car service takes roughly 30-40 minutes to reach the marina.
