Full Description & Details
Marina Puerto Morro Jable sits on the southern coast of Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands, at the fishing port of Morro Jable. It is a working marina with 188 berths spread along 400 meters of pontoons, able to take vessels up to 35 meters LOA and 5 meters draft.
The marina is well protected from most weather, though strong westerly winds can kick up occasional rough seas inside. The surrounding town offers a beach, restaurants, and services, making it a practical stopover for crews crossing between the Canary Islands and Africa.
How to get there
Approach from the northeast, heading into an estuary that opens to the west-northwest. The entrance channel is about 100 meters wide, marked by a protective pier, and requires a slight turn to the east-southeast to line up with the berths. Depths are suitable for the marina's 5-meter draft limit, but check local notices for any shifting sand.
Contact the marina on VHF channel 9 for berth assignment and entry instructions. Anchoring is possible on either side of the marina if you prefer to stay off the pontoons.
