Full Description & Details

Marina La Palma is a 180-berth marina on the east coast of La Palma in the Canary Islands, Spain, set within the commercial Port of Santa Cruz de La Palma. It sits at the end of the city's waterfront, about 15 minutes from La Palma Airport. The marina offers berths from 8 to 20 meters, with over 100 reserved for visitors, and each berth has water and electricity (single-phase or three-phase depending on size).

Facilities include Wi-Fi, showers, laundry, a fuel dock (diesel and lead-free petrol), a chandlery, and a crane for haul-out and repairs. The marina office is open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 1 pm and 5 pm to 9 pm, and Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm. The address is Darsena de Embarcaciones Menores, Puerto de Santa Cruz de La Palma, 38700 Santa Cruz de La Palma, La Palma, Canary Islands, Spain.

How to get there

Approach Marina La Palma at the head of the Port of Santa Cruz de La Palma. The main harbor dock shows a green tower light with characteristics Fl.G.5s16m5M. Because the port handles passenger and cargo vessels, all approaching vessels must contact the Port of Santa Cruz de La Palma traffic control on VHF channel 09 before entering. A 14-meter-high steel gate marks the marina entrance, illuminated at night and controlled by a marine traffic light (red or green).

If the red light is on, the gate is closed or moving, so access is prohibited; request permission via VHF channel 09. The gate takes about 8 minutes to open, the entrance is 20 meters wide, and the draft at lowest tide is 4.5 meters. Once allowed in, proceed to the reception pontoon opposite the entrance, where staff will assist with docking.
