Full Description & Details
Vuda Marina Fiji is a full-service facility on the west coast of Viti Levu, between Nadi and Lautoka. It is the jumping-off point for the Mamanuca and Yasawa island groups. The marina's defining feature is its almost circular basin, which provides 360-degree protection, a design unique in Fiji.
It offers 150 berths across two basins: the East Basin with fixed med-style docks and the West Basin with modern floating berths. Vessels up to 23 meters LOA and 3 meters draft are accommodated. Berths have 240V 10A power and shared freshwater taps, with Wi-Fi throughout.
A dedicated fuel dock supplies diesel and unleaded petrol. The boatyard has a 40-ton travel lift, hard standing for 20 yachts, and a cyclone pit storage system that straps vessels into rubber-lined pits for exceptional storm protection. The marina also has showers, laundry, a restaurant, and provisions.
How to get there
Approach from the southwest, using the highly visible British Petroleum storage tanks as a guide. The entry is through a 25-meter-wide reef channel marked with beacons and green leading lights. Contact Vuda Marina on VHF channel 16 before entering, with a call like 'Vuda Marina, Vuda Marina, Vuda Marina, this is vessel [name]', and await instructions.
Marina staff will then guide you to your berth. The channel leads into the circular basin, which offers complete shelter once inside.
