Full Description & Details

ACI Marina Simuni sits on the western side of Pag Island, inside the Maun Channel, and is often described as the northern gateway to Dalmatia. It is the last marina in the Kvarner archipelago before heading south. The setting is stark and rocky, with a lunar-like landscape that gets sunshine nearly all year.

The marina is in the small fishing village of Simuni, about halfway between Pag town and Novalja. It is a quiet spot compared to the busy club scene at Zrce Beach, which lies a short distance away. The marina operates all year round and offers 191 berths, with daily berths for vessels up to 18 meters and annual berths up to 14 meters.

There are also 55 dry berths. Each berth has water and power, and the marina provides mooring lines and stern-to-dock berthing.

How to get there

During the day, a chapel southeast of the village is the main landmark. At night, a green lighthouse on the southern tip of the entrance, at 44°27.8' N 14°57.5' E, marks the way. After passing the lighthouse, keep to the middle of the channel until the marina comes into sight.

There is a shoal on the western side of the entrance, so stay in the middle of the bay when entering. In bura winds or at night, aim for a berth in the northeastern sector. The marina monitors VHF channel 10.

The nearest airport is Zadar, with Rijeka and Zagreb also options. By car, use highways A6, E65, or E71.
