Full Description & Details
Durres Marina is a modern facility on Albania's central Adriatic coast, in the second-largest city of Durres. It accommodates up to 150 yachts with a maximum length of 30 meters and draft of 5 meters. The marina provides water, electricity, Wi-Fi, a fueling station, maintenance and repair services, 24/7 security, weather forecasting, and waste management.
Onsite dining ranges from local to international cuisine. Its location near the UNESCO-listed Durres Amphitheatre and other Roman ruins makes it a convenient base for exploring the city's historical sites, while Tirana, the capital, is a short distance away.
How to get there
Approach from the Adriatic Sea toward the port of Durres. The marina is situated within the commercial harbor area; contact the harbor master on VHF channel 16 or the designated port channel for berthing instructions and entry clearance. Depths at the entrance and alongside are suitable for vessels up to 5 meters draft, but local knowledge is advised due to commercial traffic.
Follow the marked channel and heed any pilotage requirements. On land, the marina is on Rruga Doganes, close to the city center. Durres is easily reached by road from Tirana (about 35 km) and has a ferry terminal with connections to Italy.
The nearest airport is Tirana International Airport (TIA), roughly 30 km away.
