Harbour of Hvar or Nautic Club Hvar is located on the Adriatic coast of Croatia, in the town of Hvar, in the southwestern part of the island of the same name. In fact, it is a town pier with a set of minimally necessary services.
The Croatian island of Hvar is widely known amongst yachting enthusiasts for its picturesque nature and abundance of attractions.
On the central square of the town there are Paladini Palace and Hectorović Palace, the town hall with a clock tower, St. Stephen’s Cathedral and the Arsenal building.

Above the city towers the Spanish Fortress, now a museum. It was built in the seventeenth century on the site of an old fortress, destroyed by an explosion in a powder cellar. The winding mountain ascent to it passes through an arboretum with many unusual plants, and from the fortress walls there is a magnificent view of the bay and the Hells Islands.
In the vicinity of Hvar, on one of the high hills you can also find the fortress of Napoleon built by the French in 1811. Now it houses an observatory.
